How come when people want to know more about Jesus, other people try and stand in the way! From the youth event we had a girl that really enoyed it, and wants to know more, and told her parent that she wants to become a Christian =)...But then her parents now say that she not aloud to go to church any more, or any other events.
I can understand the parents concern, but surley it would be better for them to check it out there selves, and see whats it all about, and then they can understand that we are trying to do good in the world! Rather then just putting a full stop to it.
It seems that the parents would rather have there kids on the streets because that more "normal" rather then making a difference in there life for good, and helping the reach there full potential!
Please pray that parents will have more of a soften heart towards the light, towards the good, toward Jesus! Help them see the good and love in us a Christians =)

Stand Revolution!!!
Well wow where do i start, I have just finshed washing rice pudding out of my hair from a crazy youth event!
Our youth team "Stand" held an event at our church tonight and it was so awesome, God totally moved in the building, in such a fun and exciting way! I am so pleased, and thankful to God, all Glory goes to Him!
Well we started the event with a crazy ice breaker, called face in a bowl or somthing, Me, Abi O, Abi H, and Karsten all had to put our faces in cold custard, cold spagetti, cold rice pudding, and flour to find 8 malteasers with only our mouths! Wow It was so funny, and so hard, to do. Everybody go so stuck in though is was such a laugh, i have a picture of Abi O and he looks like mushroom with flour all over his face and his shower cap, but Abi O did win so hats off to him ha!
Then we went in to a hyped worship session, with smoke machine crazy light and very loud music! the only way music should be! The songs was awesome, and all the youth got into it, my cousins had her freind were so going for it, singing away and raising hand and everything bless them, thank you Lord.
Me, Wez and Jamie then shared a meassage, about being a now generation, and taking oppourtinties we are given, not waiting around, it went so well and ran so smoothly, again thank you Lord it was you that spoke not us!
Then another quick worship session, ah i loved it. Then we all went down stairs for free ice cream (which mine got stood in wow thanks ha!), we had a games room packed with xbox, playstation wii, which was sweet and everyone loved, then in the youth wing we had a chill out zone with sofa's and live acoustic music, thanks to wez and jamie =), there was also a prayer room at the back which got used quite abit so that was awesome, my cousin and her friend even wrote a prayer, and it was so thoughful and touching, thank you Lord so much!
So yeh all in all was an amzaing event and a night to remember, met some cool new people which was great =) and lots of new faces, hopefully see them all again at the next event!
